Welcome Back Problems of the Week!! 11.9.09-11.13.09

Mr. Crawford has figured out how to put shapes on the blog (in the form of pictures) so now we are back in business. This week there will be five problems. The first two problems will be about angles, and the last three problems will be about area ans perimeter.

For 1 and 2, label the types of angles below and explain what makes them that type of angle.

For question 3 find the perimeter of the shape below. For question 4 find the area of the same given shape.

5. The base and height of a parallelogram in a floor tile pattern are 4.5 inches and 3 inches. What is the area of the piece of tile?
